Front Desk · Central Valley
Someone answers. Every time.
Most tools text people back and take a message — which still leaves you a pile of callbacks in the morning. Front Desk picks up the phone, finds out what’s wrong, and books the visit while they’re still on the line. Nights, weekends, and while you’re under a house.
Or just call or text (209) 817-1962
- Answers 24/7, including weekends
- Books into the calendar you already use
- Emergencies texted straight to you
“We already have something like this.”
A lot of shops do now — and most of it takes a message. Here’s the difference that shows up on your schedule.
A text-back tool
Sends “sorry we missed you” and collects a name. The customer waits. You call back tomorrow between jobs — by which time plenty of them have already booked someone else.
You end up with a to-do list.
Front Desk
Answers, asks what’s going on, offers two real times from your calendar and confirms one — all before they hang up. You wake up to a booked job, not a message.
You end up with work on the schedule.
How the free pilot works.
We put it on your line
About forty minutes, once. Your number stays the same and still rings first — after four unanswered rings the call comes to us instead of going to voicemail. You pick her name and the hours she covers.
She answers, and she books
A warm greeting, then she listens. What’s broken, where, and when suits — then two specific times from your real calendar, confirmed before they hang up. Anything urgent gets texted to you on the spot.
Day 7: read the log
Every call she answered, what happened, and what got booked — with the after-hours ones marked, because those are the ones that used to hit voicemail. If the week paid for itself, keep it. If not, we take it down.
The deal, in one sentence.
Seven days free on your real phone line, a written log of every call she answered — and you only pay the $297/mo if the week made the case on its own. No card up front, no contract, cancel anytime.
What she will never do.
These aren’t settings you have to remember to switch on. They’re built in, and we test for them before anything goes near your line.
- Never claims to be a person
- Never quotes a price or a range
- Never diagnoses the problem
- Never promises a time that isn’t open
- Never calls anyone — inbound only
Your customers are the reason you have a business. We’d rather she book fewer jobs than say one thing that costs you a regular.

How is this different from the $99 text-back?+
Missed-Call Rescue texts someone back and takes the details. Front Desk actually picks up the phone — it greets the caller, asks what’s going on, checks your calendar and books the visit while they’re still on the line. A text gets you a message to deal with in the morning. Front Desk gets you a job on the schedule tonight.
Does it pretend to be a person?+
Never. It says it’s a virtual assistant in its first sentence, and if a caller asks outright it tells the truth straight away and offers to have you call them back. We won’t ship it any other way — a customer who feels tricked is worse than a missed call.
Will it quote prices or guess at what’s wrong?+
No, and that’s deliberate. It will never give a price, never a range, and never a diagnosis — those are your calls, not a machine’s. When someone asks, it says you’ll give them a real number, and it books the visit instead.
What happens on an emergency call?+
It listens for the things that matter in your trade — gas, smoke, water everywhere, no heat, no AC in a heat wave, an elderly resident or a baby in the house — drops the small talk, takes the address and callback number, and texts you immediately. Emergencies never sit in a queue.
Does anything change about how my phone works?+
No. Your line rings exactly as it does now. Only if nobody picks up after four rings does the call come to us instead of voicemail. Your crew learns nothing new and you can switch it off from your own handset.
Are calls recorded?+
Yes, and it says so in the greeting — that’s both the honest thing and what California law requires. The recordings and transcripts are yours; ask and we’ll send them. They’re also what makes the weekly report worth reading.
What does the free pilot include?+
Seven days of the real thing on your real line, no card. At the end you get every call it answered, what it handled, and what it booked — with timestamps, so you can see the ones that came in after you locked up. Keep it for $297/mo or we take it down ourselves.
Will it call my customers?+
Never. Front Desk only ever answers calls — it does not dial out, not for reminders, not for follow-ups, not for anything. That’s a hard rule in how it’s built, not a setting.
Not sure it’s for you? Call or text (209) 817-1962 and ask Justin anything — no script, no pressure.
Just want the simple version first? Start with Missed-Call Rescue at $99/mo.
